2020 CCC Women’s Basketball Tournament Seeds Announced

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The seeds for the 2019-20 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, were finalized Saturday night.
 
After defeating Eastern Oregon University 74-66 for its first outright CCC Championship, Northwest Christian University picked up the top seed of the tournament and the automatic bid to the NAIA tournament. The Beacons finished the regular-season with a 23-5 overall, 17-3 conference mark.
 
The Mountaineers grab the second seed after ending the regular-season with a 21-9 overall record, 15-5 in the CCC. Southern Oregon University enters the tournament as the No. 3 seed, while Oregon Tech rounds out the top-four, which also serve as hosts for the first round. The Hustlin’ Owls got the tiebreaker over Corban Univeristy, despite both teams boasting a 13-7 CCC record.
 
Corban takes the five seed spot, while Warner Pacific University picked up the No. 6 seed. College of Idaho and Northwest University round out the eight teams advancing to the championship as the seventh- and eighth-seeded teams.
 
The quarterfinals begin Tuesday at the campus sites of seeds No. 1-4.
