Geoducks Fall To Multnomah On Senior Night
The Evergreen State College men's basketball team fell to Multnomah 72-69 Saturday night on Senior Night.
Before the game, Evergreen celebrated seniors Desmond Hudson, Gloire Biongo, Mana Niu, Raven Frazier and Elijah Fuller.
Multnomah was led by Justin Martin, who had 33 points. Trey Fountain added 17 points, Jaeden Ingram had 12 points and Forrest Smith recorded 10.
Evergreen was led by Elijah Fuller, who had 24 points, Gloire Biongo added 15 points, Mana Niu added 10 points.
The Geoducks shot 37.1 percent from the floor to the Lions' 39.1 percent. Multnomah recorded eight steals and had nine turnovers.
The game was tied for five times and had nine lead changes. Multnomah had its largest lead of 12 in the second half, but Evergreen was able to come back and the game went back and forth. The Lions had their free throws and took the win.
The Geoducks will play the final three games on the road. Evergreen will face College of Idaho on Friday and Eastern Oregon on Saturday. Both games are played at 7:30 p.m. The final 2019-20 regular-season game will be played on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Northwest.
