Walla Walla Men's Basketball Experiences Tough Loss Against Eastern Oregon

College Place, Wash. - Walla Walla and Eastern Oregon both started the game playing tough defense at both ends of the court. Eastern Oregon took early control of the game, going 7-18. Within the first 8 minutes of the half, Eastern Oregon was 100% with the three point, adding to their 18 points
Zayne Browning helps bring the momentum back to the Wolves' game by creating turnovers on the defensive end and making his shots. This helped fire up the Wolves. With 7 minutes left in the first half, the Wolves fought hard to get the game within 2 points (21-23).
Despite the Wolves efforts, Eastern continued to fight hard, draining their threes making them 62.5% from the three. At the half, Eastern had gained a 12 point lead (25-37).
Coming in the second half, Eastern continued to have the upper hand in the game by hustling on offense. The Wolves struggled to get anything to fall, whereas Eastern could not miss. Eastern Oregon continued pushing and maintained their lead, creating a 25 point difference (33-58). The Mountaineers were able to take advantage of Wolves' errors at both ends going into the end of the 2nd half.
Max McCullough led the Mountaineers with 24 points, helping them secure the win over Walla Walla, 53-81. The Wolves, were led by KiAndre Gaddy with 17 points.
The Wolves will play at #2 Oregon Tech on February 14 at 3 pm. and The Mountaineers will play at home against Northwest University on February 14 at 7:30 p.m.
