College Place, Wash. - In their first match up for the weekend, Eastern Oregon came out playing a fast paced game, with good ball movement up the court. Their quick ball movement in offense helped them secure the win over Walla Walla (55-96). Despite Walla Walla’s efforts, they could not get control of the game.

The Mountaineers had a great shooting night—everyone on the team scored. Their shooting was unstoppable being 55.4% in field goals, 46.4% from the three and 61.1% for free throws. The Wolves had an off night for shooting (37.3% in field goals, and 25% at the three point).

Walla Walla was led by both Carolina Montes with 18 points and Isabella Robles who had a total of 17 points. Eastern Oregon was led by Whitney Meier who had a total of 15 points.

Walla Walla and Eastern Oregon will face each other again, Sunday (2/9) at 2pm back at Windemuth Court in College Place, Washington.
