NWCA 2019-20 Scholar All-American Honors Announced

CORVALLIS, Ore. – On Friday, the National Wrestling Coaches Association announced the full slate of 2019-2020 Scholar All-American Team and Individual honorees for NAIA Men with awards going to 73 individuals representing 25 institutions.

The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw three teams in the NWCA 2020 NAIA MEN Top 10 Scholar All-American Teams, led by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a 3.397 team GPA. Montana State-Northern was right behind ERAU, with a 3.368 team GPA, while Eastern Oregon University posted a 3.291 team GPA to sit in the No. 7 spot.
 
Twenty CCC student-athletes also grabbed NAIA men’s wrestling Scholar All-American honors after performing well on the mat and in the classroom, led by Menlo College with five individuals, the most by any team. To qualify, a wrestler must be a 2020 NAIA qualifier and boast at least a 3.25 GPA or be a 2020 NAIA All-American with a 3.00 GPA.
