KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its 22 honorees in addition to over 10,000 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes and over 2,000 NAIA Scholar Teams as a part of its annual NAIA National Awards Day on Tuesday. The day recognizes the association's highest individual honors and achievements of NAIA student-athletes, administrators and coaches.
Additionally, the association announced the seven-member class of the 2020-21 NAIA Hall of Fame,
including former Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athlete Hillary Holt from the College of Idaho.

The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw an impressive 105 teams earn
NAIA Scholar Team honors. Arizona Christian University’s men’s wrestling team earned the honor. Bushnell University had 13 teams pick up the distinction, including men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s basketball, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s cross country, softball and volleyball.
Both Carroll College’s men’s and women’s soccer teams earned the award, while the College of Idaho had baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s soccer, softball, and men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field – along with other non-CCC sponsored sports – earn the honor.
Corban University saw its baseball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s outdoor track and field, women’s basketball, women’s soccer, volleyball, and softball teams named NAIA Scholar Teams. Eastern Oregon University’s women’s cross country, women’s soccer, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, softball, men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field, and men’s and women’s wrestling teams also picked up the honor.
New full CCC member Lewis-Clark State College saw numerous teams earn the distinction, including nine CCC sponsored sports: men’s and women’s indoor track and field, men’s and women’s cross country, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s and women’s golf.
Menlo College’s women’s wrestling team grabbed the honor, along with 15 teams from Oregon Tech: men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s cross country, baseball, softball, and men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field.
Southern Oregon University had 11 teams earn Scholar Team honors, including volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, softball, women’s wrestling, men’s and women’s cross country, and men’s and women’s outdoor track and field. The University of Providence grabbed the honor in women’s soccer and softball, while Vanguard University’s men’s wrestling team picked up the distinction as well.
Warner Pacific University rounds out the CCC schools with women’s soccer, softball, volleyball, men’s and women’s wrestling, women’s basketball, women’s cross country and women’s outdoor track and field grabbing Scholar Team honors. Walla Walla University had five teams meet the requirements: men’s and women's basketball, men's cross country, men's golf and volleyball.
In addition, the CCC saw 596 student-athletes earn individual Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete Award honors for 2019-20:
