C of I and SIDEARM Sports Partner For New Look Website
CALDWELL, Idaho – The home of College of Idaho Athletics, YoteAthletics.com, launched a complete new redesign today – the third new-look for the award-winning website since its debut in 2012.
GO TO THE NEW YOTEATHLETICS.COM
C of I's sports information staff of
Mike Safford Jr. and
Sven Alskog worked alongside developers from SIDEARM Sports/Learfield IMG College, to create YoteAthletics.com, Version 3.0. The new site features the dynamic purple color of the program, more multimedia opportunities for fans and supporters, plus expanded content to showcase coaches and student-athletes.
The current athletic calendar now is available at the top of the webpage; prospective student-athlete forms are conveniently found on every sport-specific page; a donate portal will allow fans to support their favorite Coyote team; with an Honor Roll of accolades for every team available on their sport-specific site.
Fans who use both the mobile and tablet versions of YoteAthletics.com will immediately notice a major difference. The new site features a responsive mobile web design—an approach to web page creation that makes use of flexible layouts and flexible images that detect the visitor's screen size and orientation and change the layout accordingly.
"With nearly three million page views each of the last four years, YoteAthletics.com has become the place C of I fans go to find information about their favorite team," Safford said. "Thanks to the great staff at SIDEARM Sports, the new-look website will make finding information on the Coyotes easier, while allowing new content – whether it be videos, photo galleries or stories – to be shared in a simple, user-friendly platform."
Since its launch in 2012, YoteAthletics.com has placed within the Top-10 of the NAIA-SIDA Publications and New Media website contest five times, including second-place finishes in 2013 and 2018.
