Open 184:  ACU's VA Ili took third place after winning by decision over Jake Leicht (Briar Cliff (Iowa)) (Dec 3-0).

Thoughts from Coach:

After the open, Head Coach Travis Patrick said, "The guys battled really hard today.  Any time you leave with an individual champ it was a good day.  Andrew continues to give great effort and battled through some adversity today to win his bracket.  It was fun having Jack in the lineup for the first time, he had a great tournament and I am excited to watch his continued growth.  ChrisVA, and Sammy Hernandez all showed great resilience bouncing back from losses to finish strong and place.  I am looking forward to building on this weekend as we shift our focus to a few conference duals later in January."
