CORVALLIS, Ore. – There was lots of scoring action in Cascade Collegiate Conference women’s soccer action Friday.

Rocky Mountain College (7-4-2, 4-3-1 CCC) def. Bushnell University (4-10-0, 2-7-0 CCC), 5-0
Rocky Mountain College scored quickly and often in a 5-0 victory over Bushnell University. Amber Pearson struck first for the Battlin’ Bears in the sixth minute, before Tiara Duford scored in the 20th minute. Halle Labert added a goal in the 24th minute and the Battlin’ Bears took a 4-0 lead off an own goal in the 31st minute. Brynn Klinefelter capped the scoring in the 77th minute for Rocky.

The Evergreen State College (2-8-1, 2-6-0 CCC) def. Multnomah University (1-8-0, 0-7-0 CCC), 2-0
The Evergreen State College scored two goals late in the second half to defeat Multnomah University 2-0. Madison Spenker scored her fourth goal for the season in the 80th minute and Sam Lindsay struck just a minute before the final whistle blew. The Geoducks boasted a 31-to-4 shot advantage over the Lions.

Northwest University (5-6-3, 4-2-2 CCC) def. Warner Pacific University (3-7-0, 2-5-0 CCC), 5-0
Northwest University grabbed a big 5-0 victory over Warner Pacific University, out-shooting the Knights 24-to-5. Claire Jo Diede had two goals and an assist, and Kayla Soderstrom added a goal and two assists for the Eagles. Elizabeth Moretti and Callie Wright also found the back of the net for NU.

RV College of Idaho (10-3-0, 7-1-0 CCC) def. Southern Oregon University (7-4-1, 5-2-0 CCC), 2-1
After Southern Oregon University scored a late goal to equalize, the College of Idaho ruined its comeback attempt with a goal in the final minute to take a 2-1 victory. Megan Wilkinson scored first for the Coyotes in the 54th minute, but Malaika Quigley found the back of the net in the 88th minute to even the score. Larissa Wegner then spoiled the comeback attempt with a goal with 30 seconds left in regulation to prevent overtime.

RV Oregon Tech (9-2-0, 6-1-0 CCC) def. No. 18 Eastern Oregon University (9-3-0, 6-2-0 CCC), 2-0
Oregon Tech came out the aggressor and grabbed a 2-0 upset win over No. 18-ranked Eastern Oregon University. The Owls out-shot the Mounties 15-to-5, with Nyah Kendall finding the back of the net in the 53rd minute off a Kiah Wetzell assist. Wetzel then scored her first goal of the season in the 72nd minute to seal the victory for the Owls.
