KANSAS CITY, Mo. – No. 14-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Cole Olsen was named the NAIA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, announced Wednesday by the national office.
Olsen, a senior from Clearwater, Idaho, was the top NAIA finisher at the Inland Empire Championships, taking fifth out of 149 runners. He crossed the 8K finish line in 24 minutes, 31 seconds to lead the Warriors to a third-place finish at the meet.
Olsen has been named the conference Runner of the Week eight times in his career and has now earned the national award four times.
