Meet the 2021-22 CCC SAAC Reps

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2021-22 Cascade Collegiate Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representatives have been named. Check out the amazing student-athletes representing their institutions below.
   
Bushnell University
Morgan McKinney is a senior guard/forward on the Bushnell University women’s basketball team and a three-year vet on the CCC SAAC team. The Lake Oswego, Ore., native is working on a master’s degree in leadership and is on track to graduate in 2022. McKinney aspires to be a homicide detective and is big fan of the Seattle Kraken, an NHL team based in Seattle.
 
Jaron Carter is a sprinter on the Bushnell University track and field team. The business management and marketing major is a first-year member of the CCC SAAC team and plans to graduate in 2023. Carter, a Tacoma, Wash., native, would like to own his own business someday and/or become an event coordinator of some sort.
 
College of Idaho
Alyssa Goff is a dual athlete at the College of Idaho, competing on the women’s soccer and softball teams. The political economy/philosophy major (and pre-law/legal psychology/natural sciences minor) is also a two-year CCC SAAC vet and is set to graduate in the spring. Goff is preparing to apply to law school and loves to watch the US Women’s National Soccer team. The Caldwell, Idaho, native also cheers for the Mariners and Seahawks after living outside of Seattle for a short period of time.
 
Collin Glass is a thrower on the College of Idaho track and field team, competing in the shot put, discus and hammer throws. The environmental studies major is on plan to graduate in 2022 and is a two-year SAAC vet. After graduation, Glass wants to become an ichthyologist and study fish. The Kimberly, Idaho, native is a big fan of the Cincinnati Bengals.
 
Corban University
Maxwell Jeffrey is on the baseball team at Corban University and another CCC SAAC vet. The Ferndale, Wash., native is finishing his bachelor’s in interdisciplinary studies (political science and history) and will obtain a master’s in business intelligence and analysis. After graduation, Jeffrey plans to join the military. He is also a big Seattle Mariners fan.
 
Gracie Long is a new CCC SAAC rep, representing Corban University. She is a member of the Warrior cross country and track and field (3K steeplechase) teams and set to graduate in 2022. The Port Angeles, Wash., native is majoring in health science (biomedical) with a minor in Biblical studies and would like to pursue a career in sonography. Long’s favorite athlete is Emma Coburn.
 
Eastern Oregon University
Jet Taylor is a middle blocker on the Eastern Oregon University volleyball team and the Vice Chair of the CCC SAAC. She is set to graduate in 2023 with a degree in exercise science and integrative studies. The Rigby, Idaho, native loves the Dallas Cowboys and plans to go to PA school after graduating from EOU.
 
Max McCullough is a grad student on the men’s basketball team at Eastern Oregon University and another CCC SAAC Vet. The Post Falls, Idaho, native is finishing his Master of Business Administration degree and is set to graduate in the spring. He’s a big Seattle Mariners fan and wants to play professional basketball.
 
The Evergreen State College
Lexi Sanchez is the lone rep for The Evergreen State College at the moment and the CCC SAAC Chair. She is a setter/defensive specialist for the Geoduck volleyball team and also a long jumper on the track team. The elementary education major will graduate this winter and plans to go right into grad school to get her masters in teaching for elementary education. The Pinckney, Mich., native lists her favorite sports team as the Stanford volleyball team.
 
Lewis-Clark State College
Emily Adams is a dual athlete at Lewis-Clark State College, competing on the cross country and track and field teams. She is majoring in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science/health occupations, while also minoring in business administration and coaching and set to graduate in 2022. The Waitsburg, Wash., native wants to become a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and work in Cardiac Rehabilitation. She would also like to become a coach for a cross country/track team, hopefully at the high school or college level.
 
Brooks Juhasz is a pitcher on the Lewis-Clark State College baseball team and set to graduate in 2022. The English secondary education major is a big fan of the Dodgers and while he isn’t sure exactly what he wants to do after graduating, the Eagle, Idaho, native wants to integrate his love for baseball into a career as an educator. Perhaps a future high school or collegiate baseball coach is in our midst!
 
Multnomah University
Kiara Anctil is a dual student-athlete at Multnomah University, competing on the cross country and track and field teams. The history major plans to get her master’s degree after graduating from MU in 2022 and hopefully become a coach. Originally from Post Falls, Idaho, Anctil is a big Portland Trail Blazers fan.
 
Kyle Gomez is a golfer for Multnomah University and set to graduate in 2022. The business admin major aspires to work in sports marketing for Nike Golf or Nike Basketball after graduation. The Vancouver, Wash., native is also a big Portland Trail Blazers fan.
 
Northwest University
Abigail Broussard is a middle blocker for the Northwest University volleyball team. The marketing major is set to graduate in 2022 and has a concentration in professional sales. The Lynden, Wash., native is a big Denver Broncos fan and would love to move to Colorado after graduation. She also wants to coach volleyball or even play overseas.
 
Maya Lewis is a senior on the Northwest University women’s soccer team and a new CCC SAAC rep. She is a biology pre-medicine major and originally from Layton, Utah. Her favorite sports team is the US Women’s National Soccer Team.
 
Oregon Tech
Abby Kreiser is a CCC SAAC vet and a member of the Oregon Tech women’s basketball team. The communication studies major is set to graduate in 2022 and has minors in professional writing and coaching. The Boise, Idaho, native wants to coach after graduating before going to law school to practice civil rights law. She is a big Seattle Storm fan.
 
Lindsey Sampson is another CCC SAAC vet and plays volleyball at Oregon Tech. She is majoring in environmental science and on track to graduate in 2022. The Folsom, Calif., native is a big San Francisco Giants fan and wants to work in the Pacific Northwest as an environmental scientist for a state/federal agency.
 
Southern Oregon University
Lauren Weinberg is a first year CCC SAAC rep and a member of the Southern Oregon University softball team. The healthcare administration major is working on a minor in psychology and set to graduate in 2023. The Roseville, Calif., native is a big fan of the San Francisco Giants and wants to pursue a career in the occupational therapy field.
 
Tez Allen is a CCC SAAC vet and a member of the Southern Oregon University men’s basketball team. He’s working on his MBA with a concentration in healthcare administration. The Carson City, Nev., native is a big fan of the LA Dodgers.
 
Walla Walla University
Isabella Robles is a member of the women’s basketball team at Walla Walla University and a CCC SAAC vet. The nursing major is set to graduate in 2023 and hopes to get her masters after graduating. The Orange County, Calif., native also looks forward to starting a family and enjoying the rest of her life with the people she loves.
 
Pedro Reyes is a member of the men’s soccer team at Walla Walla University and a new CCC SAAC rep. The industrial design major is also set to graduate in 2023 and would like to land a design job back home in Florida. He is a big fan of the Chivas soccer team.
 
Warner Pacific University
Kaitlin Hirasa is a midfielder on the Warner Pacific University women’s soccer team and a first-year CCC SAAC rep. The business accounting major wants to move back home to Hawaii after graduating in 2023 and is a big Phoenix Suns fan.
 
Joseph Brooks is a guard on the Warner Pacific University men’s basketball team and another first-year CCC SAAC rep. The kinesiology major is set to graduate in 2023 with a minor in sports management and is big fan of the Portland Trail Blazers. The Newberg, Ore., native would love to play professionally overseas and run his own strength and conditioning performance business after WPU.
