CORVALLIS, Ore. – There were just three Cascade Collegiate Conference men’s soccer games playing out Saturday with all three seeing four goals or more scored.

The Evergreen State College (5-7-2, 5-4-2 CCC) def. Northwest University (8-6-2, 4-5-2 CCC), 3-2
In a high-scoring battle, The Evergreen State College grabbed a 3-2 victory over Northwest University. The Eagles struck first off a goal in the 29th minute from Tyler Hopp before the Geoducks equalized in the 39th minute from Gavin McLeroy. NU struck again just 38 seconds into the second half, but once again TESC had a response once again in the 51st minute when Brandon Clough found the back of the net. Alex Young then scored the game-winner for the Geoducks in the 61st minute.

Warner Pacific University (14-2-0, 10-1-0 CCC) def. University of Providence (3-9-1, 3-7-1 CCC), 3-1
Warner Pacific University secured a trip to the CCC Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament with a 3-1 win over the University of Providence. The Knights jumped out to an early 1-0 lead thanks to a score from junior forward Hunter Leach, but the Argos’ George Almeida found an equalizer just before halftime. Matias Castano found the back of the net in the 56th minute and Christian Bahena capped the scoring after WPU goalkeeper Alexis Calderilla-Hurtado sent a long clearance from his own 18-yard box to put Bahena in on a breakaway.

Rocky Mountain College (7-5-3, 4-5-2 CCC) def. Multnomah University (2-12-1, 2-8-1 CCC), 6-0
Rocky Mountain College scored just one goal in the first half but exploded for five in the second to grab a 6-0 victory over Multnomah University. Igor Soares got the ball rolling in the 38th minute to put the Battlin’ Bears up 1-0 at halftime. Niklas Kneller then grabbed a hat trick with goals in the 48th, 55th and 69th minutes, before Milo Downey scored in the 71st minute. Less than four minutes later, Zach Wall capped the scoring for Rocky.
