French Leads OIT Men to Victory at CCC Preview Meet

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. | RESULTS – Mark French led No. 9-ranked Oregon Tech to a first-place team finish at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Preview Meet.
 
The Hustlin’ Owls took five of the top six spots to finish with 17 team points, followed by Bushnell University (65 points), Multnomah University (79 points), and Walla Walla University (80 points).
 
French took first out of 26 runners, posting a time of 25 minutes, 4.30 seconds. Fellow Owls Jonas Hartline (25:21.90) and Nick McMillen (25:42.50) weren’t far behind in second and third.
 
WWU’s Justin Corral-Yanez took fourth in a time of 26:05.20, while OIT’s Toby Ruston rounded out the top-five after crossing the finish line in 26:16.60.
 
The meet served as a preview of the CCC Cross Country Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, which is slated for Nov. 5.
