KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – In a preview of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Cross Country Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, Oregon Tech took first place.
The Owls, who are receiving votes in the latest NAIA poll saw three runners in the top-five to win the event with 15 points. Bushnell University took second with 43 points.
Multnomah University’s Shiloh Mounce took first out of 17 runners in the 5K with a time of 18 minutes, 50.50 seconds.
OIT’s Faith Widman followed in second with a time of 19:17.20, followed by her teammates Delani Dietrich (third, 19:48.40) and McKenzie Morgan (fourth, 20:01.80).
MU’s Anais Mills rounded out the top-five after crossing the finish line in 20:06.10.
The CCC Championship Meet returns to the Running Y Ranch Course on Nov. 5.
