CCC Men's Soccer Semifinal Scoreboard 11.10.21

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Soccer Tournament Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, has been set as two teams will battle it out for the conference’s second automatic qualifier and the tournament title on Friday at noon Pacific.

No. 1 seed Warner Pacific University (15-2-2) ties, No. 4 seed Corban University (11-6-1), 0-0 (WPU advances 8-7 on PKs)
After a scoreless draw, it took nine rounds of penalty kicks to determine a winner between Warner Pacific University and Corban University. The Knights earned their spot in the championship game after making eight PKs to the Warriors’ seven. Matias Castano scored the final shootout attempt for WPU.

No. 2 seed Oregon Tech (16-1-2) ties No. 3 seed Southern Oregon University (15-3-1), 2-2 (OIT advances 5-4 on PKs)
No. 19-ranked Oregon Tech scored with 30 seconds left in regulation to tie the game and force double overtime with Southern Oregon University. The two teams battled the two extra periods but had to go to a penalty kick shootout to decide who would play in the tournament championship. The Hustlin’ Owls converted five penalty kicks to the Raiders’ four to advance to the championship and grab the CCC’s second automatic qualifier – WPU secured the first one already.
