ORANGE BEACH, Ala. – Ten-seed Oregon Tech (19-2-1) will continue its postseason run after knocking off seventh-seeded Aquinas of Michigan (21-2-1) on Tuesday evening.

In the first half, both sides came out with resolute defensive shapes, limiting the opposition's opportunities.

After a scoreless first 45 minutes, Tech turned it on in the second half, creating a few one-on-one chances that forced Aquinas' keeper Braeleigh McCoy into action. Unfortunately for Tech, none of the chances would find the back of the net.

Neither teams could capitalize in regulation to send the game into overtime.

Kyra Mull chose the perfect time to get her third goal of the season, sliding it past the Aquinas' keeper for the golden goal victory in the 96th minute. Tech pinged a ball into the box that took a couple of deflections but ultimately fell to the feet of Mull. Mull got her body around the ball and curled it into the bottom corner to send OIT to the quarterfinals for the first time in program history.

Oregon Tech will face No. 2-seed Spring Arbor (Mich.) on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Pacific.
