CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon Tech’s women’s basketball team only had five players eligible to play Friday night due to COVID issues but will not compete in Saturday’s contest with Bushnell University.
Per CCC guidelines, if a school must stop play because of COVID-19 outbreak, cannot field a full team or elects not to participate, then forfeits shall be awarded for any game(s) that a school misses while unable to play.
The Owls and Beacons were set to tip off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The men’s game is still set to tip off at 5:00 p.m.
