CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2021 Cascade Collegiate Conference men’s basketball season resumed Friday with two teams holding onto their unbeaten conference records.

No. 18 College of Idaho (9-3, 3-1 CCC) def. Walla Walla University (1-9, 0-4 CCC), 93-79
No. 18-ranked College of Idaho and Walla Walla University both had solid shooting performances Friday, but the Coyotes came out on top 93-79. Johnny Radford scored a career-high 21 points off the bench to lead the Coyotes.

Multnomah University (7-5, 3-1 CCC) def. The Evergreen State College (1-7, 1-3 CCC), 97-85
Multnomah University grabbed a 97-85 victory over The Evergreen State College. Tyrese Taylor led the Lions with 30 points, while Zach Richardson finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Two Geoducks posted double-doubles with Austin Curry scoring 25 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, while LaBrandon Price added 24 points and 12 boards.

Oregon Tech (7-5, 4-0 CCC) def. Corban University (6-6, 1-3 CCC), 83-69
Despite trailing at halftime, Oregon Tech exploded in the second half to grab an 83-69 victory over Corban University. Owl Keegan Shivers scored 27 points to lead all scorers and was two boards shy of a double-double. Kendall Moore led the Warriors with 17 points on 7-for-14 shooting.

No. 17 Lewis-Clark State College def. Eastern Oregon University, 76-72
After trailing 30-26 at halftime, No. 17-ranked Lewis-Clark State College grabbed a come-from-behind victory over Eastern Oregon University. Al Sommerfield led the Warriors with 25 points, while Brennan Newsom grabbed 15 rebounds and added 13 points. The Mounties had two players finish with double-doubles as Phillip Malatare scored 23 points and had 10 rebounds, while Xavier Lovelace added 10 points and 15 boards.

Bushnell University def. Southern Oregon University, 76-71
Despite trailing by 10 at halftime, Bushnell University put together a strong second half to grab a 76-71 victory over Southern Oregon University. Kaden Sand led five Beacons in double figures, finishing with 17 points. Josh Meyer led the Raiders with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Warner Pacific University def. Northwest University, 96-86 (OT)
Drew Magaoay banked in a layup with 11 seconds left in regulation to force overtime as a fired up Warner Pacific University grabbed a 96-86 victory over Northwest University. Five Knights finished the night in double figures with Nigel McKay leading the effort with 19 points. Rayvaughn Bolton led the Eagles with 30 points and snatched 12 rebounds, while Daniel Sharpe (22 points and 11 rebounds) and Devante Powell (13 points and 10 rebounds) also posted double-doubles.
