CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2021 Cascade Collegiate Conference men’s basketball season continued Friday night with only two teams remaining undefeated on the year.

The Evergreen State College (1-5, 1-1 CCC) def. Walla Walla University (0-7, 0-2 CCC), 76-73
It came down to the wire, but The Evergreen State College came up with a 76-73 victory over Walla Walla University. Danny Nelson led all players, scoring 19 points for the Geoducks. Austin Curry recorded a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Caleb Golden led the Wolves scoring attack, posting 17 points, two shy from tying his career high. KiAndre Gaddy tallied his third double-double on the season, recording 12 points and 15 rebounds.

Southern Oregon University (4-6, 1-1 CCC) def. Eastern Oregon University (5-4, 0-2 CCC), 70-67
After trailing at halftime, Southern Oregon University turned things up in the second half and grabbed a 70-67 victory over Eastern Oregon University. Josh Meyer had a solid game for the Raiders, posting 26 points on 8-for-16 shooting, including a 4-for-9 performance from three-point range. Xavier Lovelace was one board shy of a double-double for the Mounties, finishing with 18 points and nine rebounds.

Corban University (6-4, 1-1 CCC) def. Warner Pacific University (5-3, 1-1 CCC), 84-72
Corban University was fired up and shot 52.6-percent from the floor to grab an 84-72 victory over Warner Pacific University. Jordan Newt led the Warriors with 28 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including a 5-of-7 performance from beyond the arc. Drew McKay led the Knights with 14 points on 5-for-10 shooting.

No. 20 Lewis-Clark State College (8-1, 2-0 CCC) def. Northwest University (3-3, 1-1 CCC), 103-57
No. 20-ranked Lewis-Clark State College cruised to its second CCC win with a 103-57 victory over Northwest University, shooting 64.2-percent from the floor. Silas Bennion led the Warriors with a career-high 16 points and dished out five assists. Rayvaughn Bolton led Northwest with nine points and Carson Sparks grabbed four boards.

Multnomah University (5-5, 1-1 CCC) def. Bushnell University (3-4, 1-1 CCC), 99-92
After going into halftime deadlocked at 52-52, Multnomah University came out on top for a 99-92 victory over Bushnell University. Terin Johnson led the Lions with a double-double, scoring 24 points and grabbing 12 rebounds off the bench. Stevie Schlabach had a big scoring night for the Beacons, finishing with 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting.

Oregon Tech (5-5, 2-0 CCC) def. College of Idaho (7-3, 1-1 CCC), 83-68
A 12-0 run late in the second half got No. 18-ranked College of Idaho back in the game, but Oregon Tech made 10-of-13 free throws down the stretch to grab the 83-68 victory. Kaison Faust led OIT with 14 points, as the Owls made 54-percent of their field goals on the night. Drew Wyman led the Coyotes with 13 points and five rebounds, with Tyler Robinett posting 11 points.
