CORVALLIS, Ore. – After winning the revised Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, No. 22-ranked Lewis-Clark State College highlighted the postseason All-CCC awards, released Monday.

Kiara Burlage was named Player of the Year, while teammate Abbie Johnson picked up Defensive Player of the Year. Brian Orr was named the Coach of the Year after leading his Warriors to the title in their first year as a full CCC member. College of Idaho’s Jada Reed was named both the Freshman and Newcomer of the Year.

Burlage, a senior forward from Columbia Falls, Mont., leads the Warriors with 16.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. She boasts an impressive .495 shooting percentage and has scored in double figures in all but two games. Burlage was also named the CCC Player of the Week three times this year.

Johnson, a senior forward from Cashmere, Wash., is second on the team with a 12.6 points per game scoring average on a .513 shooting percentage. She also averages 5.9 rebounds per game and has a team-high 28 steals and is second on the team with 14 blocks. Johnson was also named the CCC Player of the Week twice this season.

Orr is in his 20th year with LC State, leading the Warriors to a 12-5 record heading into the NAIA national tournament. He is the all-time winningest coach in LC State women’s basketball program history and currently ranks sixth among NAIA active coaches in all-time victories.

Reed, a freshman guard from Meridian, Idaho, has made five starts in her collegiate debut season and has a team-high 28 assists. She also averages 2.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game and has nine steals.

Along with Burlage and Johnson, Peyton Souvenir, Abby Farmer and Jansen Edmiston also picked up all-conference honors.

Due to the unprecedented season with only two teams competing during the traditional season, this year’s all-conference was altered slightly with a selection committee voting for the awards. Honorable mention was awarded to players who had at least two votes from the selection committee.

Here is the complete list of 2020-21 award winners and all-conference honorees.
