KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Carroll College’s Santiago Morazzani was named the NAIA Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, announced Tuesday by the national office. It marks the third time this season a Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athlete has won a men’s soccer national honor.
Morazzani, a six-foot-one junior midfielder from Buenos Aires, Argentina, scored eight goals over three games for the Fighting Saints. He scored four of Carroll’s five goals in a 5-0 victory over Multnomah University and added another two and an assist in the second game of the series. Morazzani also netted two goals against Eastern Oregon University to help the Saints start the conference season with a 3-0 mark.
