ASHLANDJenni Rosenberg took over the top spot on Southern Oregon's all-time women's soccer coaching wins list with her team's 1-0 defeat of Warner Pacific in a Cascade Conference matchup Sunday at Raider Stadium.

The Raiders (3-1-1 overall, 3-1-1 CCC) didn't concede a single shot in turning in a fourth consecutive clean sheet, and sophomore Sarah Mauk's third score in three games was the lone goal.

The Knights (1-6, 0-5) lost their fourth straight.

They did, however, hang around closer than the peripheral numbers indicated they should've, though they were on the defensive all day.

The Raiders recorded 24 shots, and Mauk knocked in the only one they needed in the 53rd minute, taking senior defender Trinity Rhoades' through-ball sent from beyond midfield and down the left side. Mauk gathered on the run, lost a defender on her hip and scored from close in against Knights keeper Alyssa Guthrie.

Rhoades has recorded assists in back-to-back games.

Guthrie stopped SOU's six other shots on goal. The Raiders' best shot to tack on was a Natalie Paul liner that ran into the crossbar in the 85th minute.

Rosenberg, an Ashland product who took over midway through the 2013 season, now owns a 66-48-15 career record. In conference games, her teams have combined to go 49-24-7.

SOU and WPU will play another at 1 p.m. Monday.
