KANSAS CITY, Mo. – No. 12-ranked Oregon Tech’s Faith Widman was named the NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, announced Wednesday by the national office.
Widman, a junior from Fairbanks, Alaska, won the Cascade Colligate Conference championship race in 17 minutes, 41 seconds, a 42-second improvement on her season-best. She is currently ranked No. 11 in the NAIA and will compete for a national title on April 9 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
