KANSAS CITY, Mo. – No. 8-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Cole Olsen was named the NAIA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, announced Wednesday by the national office.
Olsen, a senior from Clearwater, Idaho, has gone 4-for-4 this season in cross country races and has capped off the regular season with a win in the Cascade Conference Championships. HIs time of 24 minutes, 18 minutes over the 8k course bettered the next closest competitor by 14 seconds. Cole led from start to finish to help the Warriors grab their first-ever CCC team championship. It was his second individual conference title, winning his first last year in LC State's final year in the Frontier Conference.
