KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech (3-0, 1-0 CCC) opened Cascade Conference play with a dominating 4-0 win over Warner Pacific (1-2, 0-1 CCC) Sunday at the OIT Soccer Field.

"Great team effort and every player on the team contributed in a big way," said head coach Casey Tate. "We had a strong and consistent attack. We just need to be a little better in the final third. Some unbelievable goals and Halle Aldair scoring a fantastic goal to end the game. Proud of every player."

Freshman Mehana Ortiz got the Owls on the board early as she took a Nyah Kendall pass into the box and scored past the diving keeper for the 1-0 lead in the 21st minute.

Right before half, Maddie Miller took a chip from Alyx Burkhartzmeyer and shot from just outside the 18 scoring over the keeper to give Tech a 2-0 lead in the 43rd minute.

Tech had a 13-1 edge in shots in the first half.

Kendall then took a loose ball in the OIT half, out sprinted the Knight defenders and beat the keeper to give the Owls a 3-0 lead.

Tech added a goal with just one-minute to play as Halle Adair volleyed a pass from Mikayla Titus into the net.

The two teams will continue the two game series Monday at noon at the Oregon Tech
