Saints Shutout Lions
PORTLAND, Ore. – Finishing up their conference opening weekend, Carroll College shutout Multnomah University with a final score of 5-0.
The Saints did not waste any time getting on the board in their second game against the Lions, scoring in just the second minute of play. Santiago Morazzani got Carroll on the board in what would be his first goal of 4.
Scoring three more times in the first half, Carroll had a comfortable advantage at the half after two more goals from Morazzani and one from Paolo Georgiades to go into the break up 4-0.
The fifth and final goal for the Saints came in the 64
th minute after a corner kick from Ben Dagg was passed from Nick Lowrimore to Morazzani.
Lowrimore finished with 3 assists, followed by Ben Dagg with 2, then Javi Rodriguez and Caleb Hoxie each with one a piece.
Multnomah finished with 8 saves on the night from goalkeeper Jose David Lopez.
