KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Southern Oregon University’s Arianna Daniel was named the NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday.
Daniel, a senior from Elk Grove, Calif., ran the fastest 400-meter time in the NAIA this season, 55.62 seconds, in a win at the Lane Titan Invitational. The time also represented a personal record and is the second-fastest in Raider history. Daniel also pushed the Raiders to an 'A' standard time in the 4x100 at 47.67 (though their previous time of 46.98 still ranks No. 5 in the NAIA).
