CALDWELL, Idaho RESULTS | Carlos Davila of Lewis-Clark State shot a second round 68 to earn the clubhouse lead and Multnomah University had a dominant afternoon circuit to take the team lead after Day 1 of the Cascade Conference Men’s Golf Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, at TimberStone Golf Course.

Battling a steady rain and temperatures in the 40s, Davila carded a 32 on his front nine of the afternoon round, finishing the day at 3-under-par 141 on the 6,929-yard track, two strokes ahead of Multnomah’s Jacob Larson.

The Lions, who were in a 3-way tie with Oregon Tech and Corban at 10-over-par 298 in the morning round, blitzed the course on a windy afternoon, carding a 1-over-par 289 to take a 6-stroke lead into tomorrow’s final round.

OIT sits at 17-over-par 593, with Corban (600), Bushnell (605) and Lewis-Clark State (612) rounding out the top-five.
