Carroll Women's Soccer falls 2-1 to College of Idaho
HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College Women's Soccer team was defeated by College of Idaho 2-1 at Nelson Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
The Saints got on the board first in this game as
Brynn Walker, a senior from Helena, tucked away a goal in the 21
st minute.
Kody Clements, a sophomore from Nederland, Colo., had the assist.
Carroll went into the half with a 1-0 lead.
The Yotes jumped out to a fast start in the second half. Lily Schlake, a sophomore from Meridian, Idaho, found the back of the net to tie the score at 1-1 in the 47
th minute.
With the clock winding down and the score still tied, College of Idaho was able to score the game winning goal in the 79
th minute. Payton Mongelli assisted Alexa Rierson on a corner kick to put the Yotes ahead, leading to a 2-1 victory.
