CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – No. 2-ranked College of Idaho led four Cascade Collegiate Conference teams at the 2020 NAIA Women’s Cross Country Championship Friday morning, finishing as the national runner-up for the second year in a row. The Coyotes finished with a score of 146 – 35 points behind the champions.
No. 9-ranked Lewis-Clark State College finished with 361 points to take 13
th, while No. 12-ranked Oregon Tech placed 15
th as a team with 394 points. No. 22-ranked Northwest University came in 21
st place with 508 team points.
Four CCC student-athletes finished in the top-40 to grab All-American honors, including C of I’s Ellyse Tingelstad, who led all CCC runners with a 33
rd-place finish, clocking in at 18 minutes, 31.35 seconds. Oregon Tech’s Faith Widman took 36
th individually with a time of 18:33.97 to earn All-American status, while fellow Coyotes Larissa Mauer (38
th, 18:35.06) and Erin Moyer (39
th, 18:35.19) also grabbed the distinction.
Corban University’s Gracie Long was just shy of the top-40, taking 41
st with a time of 18:37.03
