Multnomah in 20th After Day One of NAIA Championship
SILVIS, Ill. – After battling through the wind and rain on day one of the NAIA National Tournament at TPC Deere Run, the Men’s Golf team posted a team score of 311 to finish in a four-way tie for 20
th.
Jonah Pemberton leads the Lions after the first 18 holes with a score of 73 (+2), putting him in 16
th place overall. Jacob Larson is only a few strokes behind with a round one score of 76 (+5).
Isaiah Lamont posted a first round score of 79 (+8), followed by Chase Snodgrass who shot 83 (+12). Rounding out the lineup is Geoff Strong with 86 (+15).
The Lions will have a quick turnaround as they are teeing off at 8:40am central time (6:40am PST). After tomorrow, the field will be trimmed to the top 17 teams and 40 individuals including ties.
