Oregon Tech Secures All-Sports Title for 2020-21
CORVALLIS, Ore. – A brand-new championship banner will adorn the Oregon Tech campus as the Owls have claimed their first-ever All-Sport title.
Oregon Tech earned first-place points with regular-season championships in women’s soccer (west division), and women’s golf, while racking up key points with second place finishes in men’s cross-country, men’s basketball, baseball and men’s golf. In total, the Owls earned 135.85 points.
The College of Idaho, with 131.4 points, was the runner-up on the strength of first-place points in women’s cross-country, women’s track/field, women’s soccer (east division) and men’s track/field (tie). The Yotes also earned second-place points in softball.
Corban University, Lewis-Clark State College and Eastern Oregon University round out the top-five with 125.5, 120.75 and 120.70 points, respectively. Corban earned max points for its men’s soccer division championship while LC State stood atop the men’s cross-country and baseball podiums. EOU earned first-place points in volleyball and men’s track/field (tie).
