CCC-SAAC Names All Athletic Training Staffs ATC Staff of the Year

| By: Sammi Wellman, CCC Director of Communications
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The past year has been difficult and challenging for all of intercollegiate athletics, especially the men and women who serve in the role of a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Each year, the Cascade Collegiate Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (CCC-SAAC) names an Athletic Training Staff of the Year and, in an effort to acknowledge the selflessness and dedication of all of the ATC staffs in the conference, the CCC-SAAC determined every staff is deserving of the honor.

"Our sincere thanks to the ATCs at each of our member schools," stated CCC Commissioner Robert Cashell. "Every Certified Athletic Trainer in the CCC rose up and met the unbelievable challenge that was COVID-19 and worked tirelessly to provide a safe environment for the student-athletes in the league."

This year, athletic training staffs took on the responsibilities of daily screening for COVID, managing weekly testing protocols and a myriad of other things, along with their already demanding jobs. By "doing their part," it allowed the student-athletes to participate in the sports they love.
