CORVALLIS, Ore. – Due to COVID, the 2020-21 Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings have been adjusted to include the fall and winter championships in the first release, while the final standings on July 2 will include all three championship seasons.
Lewis-Clark State College sits in 16
th place in the standings with 372.50 points, garnering the second-most points possible (90) with a second-place finish in men’s basketball. The Warriors also grabbed 64 points with a ninth-place finish in women’s basketball.
Eastern Oregon University follows in 27
th place with 280.00 points, claiming points in men’s and women’s indoor track and field and men’s wrestling. The College of Idaho has 229.00 points for 39
th place, while Oregon Tech sits in 53
rd place with 183.00 points. Corban University (60
th, 167.50), Northwest University (83
rd, 110), Warner Pacific University (102
nd, 79.00), Southern Oregon University (141
st, 27.00) and Bushnell University (142
nd, 25.00) close out the remaining CCC teams.
The Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NAIA Championships. The final NAIA Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings spring update will be published on July 2.
