Hunt Wins CWU Invite, Helping Yotes to 2nd Place Finish

ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Logan Hunt won his second career race, helping The College of Idaho to a second-place finish at the Central Washington Invitational on the CWU Campus Course.

Hunt traversed the 6,000-meter circuit in a time of 19:27 – 13 seconds clear of second-place Kaleb Korta of Western Washington. The second-year Coyote has recorded a Top-3 finish in each of his four regular-season races.
 
The Yotes recorded 65 place-points, second only to WWU (29), but finished clear of Northwest University (82) and host Central Washington (94).
 
Three other Coyotes recorded Top-20 finishes, as true freshman Parker Wade placed 12th (20:23), senior Sean Wagnon placed 14th (20:30), with senior Josh Fritz in 17th (20:33).
