2021 NAIA National Awards Day Recipients Released

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced over 11,000 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes and over 2,000 NAIA Scholar Teams as a part of its annual NAIA National Awards Day on Wednesday.
 
The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw multiple schools earn multiple honors, including 95 teams earn NAIA Scholar Team recognition. The College of Idaho led with 15 CCC teams grabbing the distinction, while Oregon Tech and Eastern Oregon University both followed with 13 teams. Both Bushnell University and Lewis-Clark State College saw 11 of their teams earn Scholar Team honors, along with 10 from Corban University and Warner Pacific University.
 
Over 11,000 student-athletes were named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes, including 38 baseball players, 12 men’s basketball athletes, 19 men’s cross country runners, 16 men’s golfers, 57 men’s soccer athletes, 42 men’s track and field student-athletes, 10 men’s wrestlers, 58 softball athletes, 41 women’s basketball players, 27 women’s cross country runners, 72 women’s soccer players, 72 women’s track and field athletes, 54 volleyball student-athletes, and 10 women’s grapplers.
