CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2021 Cascade Collegiate Conference season kicked off today with six matchups and all six were decided in 90 minutes.

College of Idaho outshot Multnomah University 23-8 en route to a 3-0 victory to kick off the conference season. Three different Coyotes scored in the win – Bernardo Zanatta, Caio Pereira, and Liam Kelly – while Drew Morris had four saves to secure the clean sheet. David Lopez came up with 12 saves in goal for the Lions to try to keep his team in the game.

Oregon Tech (5-0-0, 1-0-0 CCC) def. Northwest University (4-2-1, 0-1-0 CCC), 2-1
Oregon Tech kept its undefeated streak going, while simultaneously snapping Northwest University’s win streak with a 2-1 victory. After a scoreless first half, the Eagles got on the board first as Elliot Misic took a cross from Tyler Hopp in the 54th minute. The Owls answered quickly, scoring the equalizing goal just 41 seconds later as Arthur Proost scored his fifth goal of the season before John Sarna grabbed the game-winner in the 71
st minute for OIT.

Southern Oregon University (5-0-0, 1-0-0 CCC) def. The Evergreen State College (0-4-0, 0-1-0 CCC), 4-3
Southern Oregon University kept its hot start going with a 4-3 victory over The Evergreen State College. The Raiders capitalized first on goals from Junior Rivas and Alan Gaytan. Trailing 2-0, the Geoducks responded with three-straight goals from Joe DiCarlo, Brandon Clough and Maxton Hauser to take the lead. Zak Woolley grabbed the tying goal for the Raiders, while Gaytan converted a penalty kick in the 74
th minute to give SOU the win. Going into the contest, SOU hadn't given up a goal against TESC since 2016.

Carroll College (1-2-0, 1-0-0 CCC) def. Bushnell University (0-4-0, 0-1-0 CCC), 6-1
Carroll College got its first win of the year with an exclamation point. Coming into the game, the Saints hadn’t found the back of the net yet, but that all changed Friday as three different Saints scored. Rory Bloy finished with a hat trick, while Nick Lowrimore had two goals and an assist. Santiago Morazzani also had an assist to go with his goal. Bushnell’s Joel Kambou scored with under five minutes to play to help the Beacons avoid being shut out.

Corban University got back to its winning ways Friday with a 4-0 blanking over Walla Walla University. Three different Warriors scored in the win, with Carlos Llamosa scoring twice for Corban. The Warriors out-shot the Wolves 26-to-3, limiting WWU to just one shot on goal. Colebren Schoenleber gave the Wolves their best chance of the day in the 77

After a scoreless first half, Warner Pacific University broke through in the 54
