CORVALLIS, Ore. – Two days into the Cascade Collegiate Conference schedule and there is a three-way tie for first place with two victories between Oregon Tech, Southern Oregon University and Warner Pacific University.

Warner Pacific University (5-1-0, 2-0-0 CCC) def. College of Idaho (3-1-0, 1-1-0 CCC), 2-0
WPU ends the opening weekend of conference play tied atop the standings after a 2-0 victory over the College of Idaho. Arturo Bahena, who scored or assisted on all 3 of the Knights' goals this weekend, found the back of the net for the only two scores in today's contest. Coyote goalkeeper made seven saves to try to keep his team in the game.

Oregon Tech (6-0-0, 2-0-0 CCC) def. The Evergreen State College (0-5-0, 0-2-0 CCC), 2-1
Oregon Tech remained unbeaten with a 2-1 victory over The Evergreen State College. The Hustlin' Owls hit the scoreboard first as John Sarna served up a nice cross that Anthony Santillan finished for his third goal of the year, giving Tech the early 1-0 lead in the fourth minute. Evergreen State quickly answered with the equalizer, just five minutes later. Mathew Jordan scored off a Lucas Alcala assist in the ninth minute. Just seconds before the 90 minutes expired, Jake Mitchell converted a penalty kick for the game-winner.

University of Providence (1-2-0, 1-0-0 CCC) def. RV Rocky Mountain College (3-1-1, 0-1-0 CCC), 1-0
University of Providence got its first win of the season on Saturday, upsetting Rocky Mountain College – who is receiving votes in the NAIA National Poll – 1-0. Matthew Wilkinson scored the deciding goal off a corner kick from Mika Lukas Lankhof in the 51st minute to seal the victory for the Argos.

Southern Oregon University (6-0-0, 2-0-0 CCC) def. Northwest University (4-3-0, 0-2-0 CCC), 2-1
Southern Oregon University completed a perfect weekend of Cascade Collegiate Conference action as it beat Northwest University 2-1. Alan Gaytan, who'd tallied in four straight games, was pulled down while making a run into the box in the 76th minute and earned a penalty kick that Joao de Santos converted for the winner. Brayden Corwin scored for the Eagles, while Adrian Villegas had the Raiders’ other goal.

Eastern Oregon University (1-4-0, 1-1-0 CCC) def. Multnomah University (0-7-0, 0-2-0 CCC), 1-0
Eastern Oregon University found its first win of the season with a 1-0 shutout at Multnomah University. Kellen Burke scored the lone goal for the Mounties as EOU outshot the Lions 10-to-5. David Lopez had four saves for Multnomah.
