CORVALLIS, Ore. – Only two matches Friday resulted in three-set sweeps, with two matches going long to five sets as competition in the Cascade Collegiate Conference heats up.

Multnomah University (3-6, 2-6 CCC) def. Walla Walla University (0-9, 0-8 CCC), 3-0
Multnomah University and Walla Walla University battled it out Friday, including a high-scoring second set, with the Lions grabbing the three-set win (25-16, 33-31, 25-21). The Lions were led by Danae Stokes (18 kills) and Rachel Bailey (38 assists). The Wolves were led by a trio of Wolves: Gabrielle Browning (season-high 14 kills and career-high 17 digs), Meherio Krainer (career-high 23 assists and 11 digs), and Isabelle Gardea (career-high nine kills).

College of Idaho (7-9, 4-4 CCC) def. Southern Oregon University (7-6, 2-6 CCC), 3-2
The College of Idaho came from behind to grab a five-set victory over Southern Oregon University (21-25, 25-23, 25-27, 25-23, 15-13). Simone Gordon totaled 19 kills on 38 attempts and had four blocks, while defensive specialists Kadyn Jones (24 digs) and Karina Oliveira (20 digs) helped offset a .185 attacking night for the Raiders.

No. 7 Corban University (14-0, 8-0 CCC) def. Northwest University (5-8, 4-4 CCC), 3-0
Seventh-ranked Corban kept its season-long win streak intact Friday with a 3-0 win over Northwest (25-12, 25-16, 25-16). Rylee Troutman had nine kills, and Allyson Reid added seven blocks for the Warriors. Abigail Broussard led the Eagles with nine kills and two aces, with Anna Saelens getting 19 assists.

No. 14 Eastern Oregon University (12-4, 7-1 CCC) def. Oregon Tech (9-4, 5-3 CCC), 3-1
No. 14-ranked Eastern Oregon University had to come from behind but took care of business with a 3-1 victory over Oregon Tech (17-25, 27-25, 25-22, 25-18). The Mounties came up big on the block, out-blocking the Owls 19-to-6 with Cambree Scott posting a match-high seven stuffs on the night. Madison Morgan had five blocks to go with her team-high 11 kills for EOU. The Owls were led in kills by Nicole Reyes (13), Faith Houck-Wylie (12), and Kaylin Talonen (10).

Lewis-Clark State College (10-6, 5-3) def. Warner Pacific University (0-11, 0-8 CCC), 3-1
Lewis-Clark State College defeated Warner Pacific 3-1 (25-18, 25-23, 23-25, 25-15) Friday night. Jada Wyms led the Warriors with a season-high 18 kills and and Cassidy Nelson added 11. Jess Ruffing led in assists with 24 and Kenzie Dean added 23 digs. Grace Buchanan led the Knights with 18 kills. Matalasi Laban had 26 assists, while three different players had 14 digs.

Bushnell University def. The Evergreen State College, 3-2
The Evergreen State College and Bushnell University had a five-set thriller with the Beacons coming out on top 3-2 (25-14, 21-25, 15-25, 25-21, 16-14). Bushnell was led by Shay Coons, who had 22 kills and Payton Jones added 11.  Evergreen was led by Lily Stewart, who had 14 kills and Zoe Shaw had a double-double with 11 kills and 24 digs.
