College of Idaho Men's Golf Sets New 18-Hole Team Record

Vallejo, California – After being two strokes shy of the school record to start the season, the College of Idaho men’s golf team came through with a new school record in Monday’s opening round of the Cal Maritime Fall Invitational with a 285. The previous record was a 288 that was posted in the first round of the Warner Pacific Invite on April 9, 2018.

The record-setting performance by the Yotes put College of Idaho at five-over par and a 14-stroke lead as they head into Tuesday’s final round. Teammates Shane Rene and Ethan Schloss share the individual lead after posting a round of 70 at even par.

Two strokes back of Rene and Schloss are Camden Chose, who is tied for fifth after a 72. The fourth golfer in the College of Idaho lineup and also in the top 10 is Tristan Belue, who is tied for seventh with a 73 (+3). To round out the lineup for College of Idaho is Parker Edwards, who is tied for 14th with a 76 (+6).
