CORVALLIS, Ore. – The seeds for the 2022 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, were finalized Saturday night. While there is still one CCC game left to play on Sunday, it has no impact on the qualifications or seedings.
No. 19-ranked Warner Pacific University won its second-straight CCC conference championship, this time without sharing it. The Knights finished the year with an undefeated record to earn the CCC’s first automatic qualifier to the NAIA National Tournament.
Oregon Tech picked up the second seed by one point after finishing with one more tie than No. 25-ranked Corban University, which grabbed the third seed. The College of Idaho and Southern Oregon University both finished in fourth in the conference with the Coyotes earning the four seed after beating the Raiders earlier in the year.
Rocky Mountain College earned the No. 6 seed despite still having a game to play, while Eastern Oregon University and The Evergreen State College filled in the final two spots at No. 7 and No. 8, respectively.
The CCC tournament takes place Nov. 7-11, hosted by Bushnell University. The quarterfinals and semifinals will play out at Willamalane Park in Springfield, Ore., while the championship game will kick off at Civic Park in Eugene, Ore. Whichever team wins the tournament will earn the CCC’s second AQ to the national tournament. If the Knights advance to the final, their opponent will earn the AQ.
