The next day, the Eagles picked up another 1-0 victory, this time in overtime over fourth-seeded Eastern Oregon University. Once again, Lau came up big for the Eagles, finding the back of the net in the 103

College of Idaho battled for a 3-2 victory over sixth-seeded Carroll College to open the tournament. Lily Schlake scored the game-winner with less than three minutes left in regulation to keep the Coyotes’ quest for the tournament title alive.
In the semifinals, the Coyotes defeated second-seeded Southern Oregon University 1-0 with another late goal. CCC Newcomer of the Year Gianna Yslava provided the late heroics with a goal in the 76

During the regular season, Northwest posted a close 2-1 victory over then-ranked No. 22 C of I – the Coyotes’ first conference loss. Claire Jo Diede scored both goals for the Eagles before the Coyotes launched a comeback attempt. College of Idaho scored in the 80
