CCC Volleyball Tournament Scoreboard 11.11.22

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2022 CCC Volleyball Tournament Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, is set after a full day of volleyball. No. 1-ranked Eastern Oregon University takes on No. 4-ranked Corban University for the championship on Saturday at 3 p.m.

First Round
No. 3 seed Southern Oregon University def. No. 6 seed Lewis-Clark State College, 3-2
In a close battle, third-seeded Southern Oregon University grabbed a 3-2 victory over sixth-seeded Lewis-Clark State College (19-25, 25-18, 27-29, 25-15, 15-11). Hailey Van Well led the Raiders to victory with 14 kills, while Hannah Randall added 43 assists and 13 digs. Grecia Ung Enriquez led all attackers with 15 kills for the Warriors.

No. 4 seed Bushnell University def. No. 5 seed The Evergreen State College, 3-0
Fifth-seeded The Evergreen State College tried to overcome a rough first set but couldn’t hold off fourth-seeded Bushnell University in a straight-set sweep (25-14, 26-24, 25-23). Makenna Northern dished out 33 assists, while Callie Wilkins had three aces and 14 digs for the Beacons. Zoe Shaw led the Geoducks with 14 kills, while Rylee Grams posted 16 digs.

Semifinals
No. 2 seed Corban University def. No. 3 seed Southern Oregon University, 3-1
SOU started strong in its second match of the day but couldn’t hold off second-seeded and No. 4-ranked Corban University in a 3-1 loss (19-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-22). Rylee Troutman led all attackers with 19 kills and added 18 digs. Sadie Byrd finished with seven blocks and Randall dished out 36 assists.

No. 1 seed Eastern Oregon University def. No. 4 seed Bushnell University, 3-0
Top-seeded and top-ranked Eastern Oregon University came out swinging in a three-set victory over fourth-seeded Bushnell University (25-22, 25-18, 25-19). Kara Clayton led the Mounties with 15 kills, while Hailey Arritola finished with 25 digs. Northern and Wilkins had another solid match for the Beacons, finishing with 33 assists and 22 digs, respectively.
