KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 2022 NAIA Men’s Cross Country National Championship will take place in Tallahassee, Fla. on Friday, Nov. 18.
Championship Preview Highlights
- We will see 36 teams and 78 individuals at the 67th Annual Men’s Cross Country National Championship.
- This is the first time that the championship has been hosted in Tallahassee, Fla.
- The 8k race will start at 8:30 a.m. ET at the Apalachee Regional Park.
- The race will be streamed live for the second time this year and can be found HERE. The live stream will be $9.99 for each event.
- The timer will be sending live results HERE. Keep in mind these results are not finalized until after the review period.
- The 2022 men's cross country national champion, Milligan (Tenn.), returns to the championship this year as the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament Winner and was ranked No. 1 in the final poll.
- There are 12 teams attending the national championship that have 10 or more appearances since 2010: College of Idaho, Lewis-Clark State (Idaho), St. Francis (Ill.), The Master’s (Calif.), Aquinas (Mich.), Southern Oregon, Eastern Oregon, Indiana Wesleyan, Olivet Nazarene (Ill.), Shawnee State (Ohio), Cornerstone (Mich.), Oklahoma City.
- There are four teams attending the national championship for the first time since 2010: Florida College, IU East (Ind.), Lawrence Tech (Mich.), Vanguard (Calif.).
- The NAIA meet record for the 8k is 23:14.0 set by Silah Misoi of Life (Ga.) in 1996.
