Sixty-Two CCC Student-Athletes Named Daktronics NAIA Cross Country Scholar-Athletes

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2022 Daktronics NAIA Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Scholar-Athletes, with the Cascade Collegiate Conference seeing 62 athletes pick up the honor.
 
Twenty-five men and 37 women from the CCC earned the distinction after achieving at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. Oregon Tech led with six men, while the College of Idaho led with seven women.
 
In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
