2022 CCC Soccer Tournaments Delayed Due to Rain

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Due to heavy rain, one of the fields at Willamalane Park is unplayable, forcing the starts of the 2022 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, to push back their start dates.

“With one of our competition fields unplayable, the decision has been made to delay the start of both the men's and women's soccer championships from Monday to Tuesday," stated CCC commissioner Robert Cashell. "We were able to secure an alternate site, Civic Park, for Tuesday and Wednesday to serve as our second field.

“We want to be as equitable as possible to all programs competing for a chance to go to the NAIA National Tournament and shifting the entire tournament start day does that," added Cashell.

Monday’s quarterfinal games have shifted to Tuesday with those games scheduled for Field 2 at Willamalane now being played at Civic Park in Eugene, Ore. The quarterfinal game times will remain as scheduled with the semifinals still playing out on Wednesday and the championship game kicking off on Friday at Civic Park.
