Qualifiers for the 2022 NAIA Men's Cross Country Championship Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo. –  The 36 team, 78 individuals in the championship field have been announced for the 67th Annual NAIA Men’s Cross Country National Championship that will be held on November 18 in Tallahassee, Fla.
 
Five Cascade Collegiate Conference teams earned their spot in the national championship along with one individual. Southern Oregon University picked up the CCC’s automatic bid after winning the 2022 CCC Men’s Cross Country Championship, presented by U.S. Bank. The College of Idaho, Eastern Oregon University, Lewis-Clark State College, and Oregon Tech all earned at-large bids.
 
Northwest University’s Dawson Andrews was the CCC’s lone individual qualifier.
 
Meet Notes
  • This is the first year that the championship will be hosted in Tallahassee, Fla. The course will be located at the Apalachee Regional Park.
  • The field is made up of 22 automatic qualifiers and 14 at-large berths. A team can automatically qualify by winning the conference championship meet or by being the meet runner-up (for a conference with more than one automatic qualifier). For more about automatic qualifiers CLICK HERE
  • The 14 at-large berths were determined by an oversight committee. 
  • In addition to the team qualifiers and at-large bids, 78 athletes will compete as individual qualifiers.
