Coach Butterfield’s Thoughts
“Our guys showed up ready to compete with #13 Morningside today as we hosted our first home dual of the year. A tough month of top notch competition has helped us to be ready to compete at high levels and step up to the line ready to compete at higher levels each week. Highlighted by wins by Rico Robles, Kaden Martin, and Michael Moreno, whose matches kept the score close throughout the dual. We thank the Lord for every opportunity we are given and the adversity that will help us to be great.”
Next on the schedule:
The Firestorm grapplers will compete in the Desert Duals in Las Vegas, Nevada tomorrow, an event that is hosted by Wartburg College. Following the Christmas break ACU Wrestling will then head to Prescott, Arizona to face off against the Embry-Riddle Eagles on New Year’s Eve.
