CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2022-23 CCC Men’s Basketball season got in full swing today.

The Evergreen State College def. Walla Walla University, 82-74
The Evergreen State College grabbed an 82-74 victory over Walla Walla University to open conference action. Jayden Upshaw led four Geoducks in double figures with 19 points. Andrew Vaughan and Jalen Freeman each scored 19 points for the Wolves.

No. 4 College of Idaho def. Southern Oregon University, 67-59
Fourth-ranked College of Idaho put together a strong second half to grab a 67-59 victory over Southern Oregon University. Charles Elzie led the Coyotes with 13 points (6-for-10), while Tyler Robinett and Johnny Radford each chipped in 12 points. Josh Meyer led the Raiders with 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting.

Multnomah University def. Bushnell University, 87-82
Multnomah University started strong and held on for an 87-82 victory over Bushnell University. Three Lions finished the night with big numbers, led by Neyland Block’s 26-point performance (11-for-17). Spencer Hoffman also had a solid shooting night, finishing with 27 points (12-for-15) for the Beacons.

Warner Pacific University picked up its third-straight win with an 86-81 victory over Corban University. Thomas Miles led the Knights with 24 points (8-for-15), while Dakota Reber posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Darius Henderson led the Warriors with 27 points (11-for-17).

Eastern Oregon University ran away with an 88-73 victory over (RV) Oregon Tech to open conference action. Five Mounties finished the night in double figures, led by Phillip Malatare with 18 points. Erik Fraser led the Owls with 21 points (7-for-11), while Joey Potts had 14 points and four blocks on the night.

Northwest University held off a late surge from Lewis-Clark State College to grab a 93-86 victory. Coa Chatman was on fire, finishing with 30 points on 10-of-12 shooting for the Eagles. Davian Brown had a career-high 27 points (10-for-17), while Silas Bennion also scored a career-high 24 points for the Warriors.
