CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2022-23 CCC Men’s Basketball season some close battles Saturday, including its first overtime game.

Eastern Oregon University def. Southern Oregon University, 96-90 (OT)
Southern Oregon University forced overtime, but Eastern Oregon University came out on top with a 96-90 victory. Phillip Malatare led the Mounties with 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Atmar Mundu led the Raiders with 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting.

Warner Pacific University def. Bushnell University, 78-74
Warner Pacific University won its third-straight CCC game with a 78-74 victory over Bushnell University. Thomas Miles had a stellar game, finishing with 28 points (9-for-18) and grabbing eight rebounds. Spencer Hoffman led the Beacons with 27 points, while Trevon Richmond dished out 10 assists.

Corban University came out fired up and ran away with a 93-72 victory over Multnomah University. Collin Warmouth led the Warriors with 18 points, while Mateo Escheik posted a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Zach Richardson led the Lions with 26 points.

No. 4-ranked College of Idaho grabbed a 77-69 victory over (RV) Oregon Tech after opening the first half with a 56.7 field-goal percentage. Samaje Morgan led the Coyotes with 15 points, while Straton Rogers grabbed 13 boards. Erik Fraser led the Owls with 24 points and was one rebound shy of a double-double.

Lewis-Clark State College bounced back with an 80-56 dominant victory over The Evergreen State College. Davian Brown led the Warriors with 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting. Tyler Williford led the Geoducks with a double-double, scoring 16 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

Northwest University grabbed its second-straight CCC win with a 95-74 victory over Walla Walla University. Four Eagles finished the game in double figures led by Drew Bryson’s 28 points. Caleb Golden led the Wolves with 28 points (10-for-15).
